The presentation will focus on different uses of EyesWeb in both the visual and audio fields. Donald Glowinski will share with participants the InfoMus Lab’s experience within sciences and arts. The EyesWeb project focuses on different aspects of non-verbal multimodal communication, including human body movement and musical gesture, and aims at understanding the affective and expressive content movement conveys.
Donald Glowinski has a Master of Philosophy (Sorbonne, Paris), Cognitive Science (EHESS, Paris) and Music and Acoustics (CNSMDP, Paris). He is part of the Infomus Lab team based at Casa Paganini institute of the University of Genoa, Italy. Within the frame of European projects such as HUMAINE and ENACTIVE, he contributes to the development of new multimodal interfaces for musical expression and focuses in particular on the automatic recognition of emotions throughout the analysis of body movements.
