Join us for a crisp drink on a springtime evening as we launch the festival in Liverpool with the 2010 theme Framing Motion. Following a taster screening of programme highlights, artists Bridget Fiske and Rachel Davies will offer an exclusive glimpse of what’s to come.

moves is back to the North West from a successful journey around the world touring its best films from moves09 as far as Australia, Hungary, Spain, Brazil, Russia and Scotland.
Gearing up for a packed 5-day programme of international screenings, unique artistic indoor and outdoor works, inspiring talks, workshops and live performances moves has chosen Liverpool's creative hub, the Bluecoat, as its base for its 6th edition.
As the largest exhibition platform in the UK for experimental short film and new media with a unique focus on movement on screen moves will bring the most recent and fascinating experimental works that examine movement on screen to the city and the region. moves will takeover the renowned cultural centre in the heart of Liverpool and screens in the North West from 21 to 25 April 2010.
