M09-EXHIBITION 23-28 April, MMU Link Gallery
Two meditative pieces and one gazebo to help you relax, as well as 2-hours of film and video!

Kinetic Cinema is a strand dedicated to experimental film and video art with a strong sense of visual rhythm. These pieces convey a sense of motion through the use of visuals or editing, building upon and enriching moves' original festival background in the field of dance on screen.

Highlights of Kinetic Cinema include a special retrospective on Czech surrealist master Jan Svankmajer; our exhibition at MMU Link Gallery featuring a video interpretation of 19th-century painting The Raft of the Medusa; an unconventional scriptwriting lesson with The Fantastical World of Scriptwriting by Jack Feldstein and an evening of poetry and movement on film, guest-curated by Comma Press.
