Broadcasting across the city of Manchester via local terrestrial & cable networks, as well as nationally & internationally via SKY Digital, Reel North champions the very best in new cinematic talent, screening quality short films from Manchester, the UK and around the world. Winner of the Best Regional Programme, Royal Television Society’s (NW) Broadcast Awards 2006, as well as being a finalist in the previous two years, Reel North is the most successful student television programme in the UK.
Zeitgeist is Channel M’s grassroots arts magazine programme produced by the multi-award-winning International Media Centre at the University of Salford. Representing the spirit of the times, the mood of a generation, Zeitgeist delves into the hidden corners of Manchester’s cultural backstreets. Available across the UK, as well as Ireland, France, Spain, Portugal and Germany via SKY Digital, Zeitgeist carries high quality, in-depth features on subjects ranging from dance, photography, art, religion, music and culture.
