The BBC is a major media partner of moves08 through its screening of a programme specifically curated for the BiG Screens, to be shown throughout April in Manchester, Liverpool, Leeds, Hull, Derby, Rotherham and Bradford.

Reel North
is Channel M's critically-acclaimed short film showcase produced by the International Media Centre at the University of Salford. Broadcasting across the city of Manchester via local terrestrial & cable networks, as well as nationally & internationally via SKY Digital, Reel North champions the very best in new cinematic talent, screening quality short films from Manchester, the UK and around the world.
Winner of the Best Regional Programme, Royal Television Society’s (NW) Broadcast Awards 2006, as well as being a finalist in the previous two years, Reel North is the most successful student television programme in the UK. 

Reel North provides moves with technical support for the second year and is our official tour sponsor.

Channel m began broadcasting on 14th February 2000. It is a dedicated service broadcasting throughout Greater Manchester. Recently, the station has enjoyed rapid growth and expansion, with a move to purpose built studios within Urbis in Manchester City Centre, production of live news broadcasts five days a week at 5pm and 9pm, the launch of a live three hour breakfast show and the development of the programme schedule to incorporate Channel M productions focused on entertainment and sport for Greater Manchester.
