gala5Gala Pujol (Festival Director)

Gala is a freelance curator working in creative business and cultural management in various festivals, associations and institutions since in Spain, France and the UK. Some include VAD International Video and Digital Arts Festival, NU2s, Futureeverything, folly, El Mediator. She founded the cultural association La Plataforma (2001) for the Arts and Culture and has been guest lecturer at ERAM (Ecola de Realització Audiovisual i Multimèdia, Spain), Festival Tens Dansa (Spain) or MMU (UK). She's a  member of the selection team for competition at VAD Festival; producer for REMOR, Experimental Music Festival (Spain) and is involved with the art association GRESOLART (MaMa Festival & FEM Festival, Spain).

martinaMartina Puchberger (Festival Coordinator)

Martina joined moves after having worked as Festival Coordinator for the first edition of the Abandon Normal Devices (AND) Festival (FACT, Liverpool). Her pasion for working in contemporary visual arts and film brought Martina to Liverpool. With a background in arts management and cultural research, Martina has previously worked for the Liverpool Biennial, Tate Liverpool, and The Bluecoat. Before moving to the North West, Martina has been involved with the Latin American Film Festival (LAFF) in London and carried out research in the UK, Europe an internationally for the Centre of Cultural, Media and Creative Industries Research at King's College London.

Gitta WigroGitta Wigro (Co-Curator)

Gitta works as a freelance screendance programmer. Her curating work included prgramming Dance on Screen, the UK's longest-running annual dance film festival. She has also guest-curated screendance programmes for UK and international events and festivals, among them Electriofringe 2007 (Australia), the BFI Lesbian and Gay Film Festival 2008 (UK), Videodanza 2005 (Italy) and AnticorpiXL in 2006, 2007, 2008 and 2009 (Italy). Between 2004 and 2007, Gitta ran Videoworks, The Place's unique video resource for dance artists, and its 5000-title sceendance video library. Since then she has worked for CAPTURE, the UK's national agency for dance and moving image, and for clients such as South East Dance, Concorso Giovani Danz'Autori Italy and The Robin Howard Theatre.

Andy HuntAndy Hunt (Festival Technician)

Andrew Hunt moves' Technical Supervisor, has joined the festival team on behalf of our partner venue the Bluecoat. There he works as an AV technician and sound engineer. Over the past year he has worked on many collaborative multimedia/music/art projects and festivals in and around the North West such as "Twins" and Liverpool Sound City.  Andrew's background is rooted in music and performance, and he regularly performs live as part of art/music collective a.P.A.t.T and pop group Indica Ritual.
